Alison writes stories of many genres for children of all ages, but historical fiction for readers aged 10 -14 is her sweet spot.
Born and raised in the US, Ali has long called Australia home. She’s lucky to live in Gabbi Gabbi Country, the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Spreading the Love of Reading
A long time ago, an eleven-year-old girl finished reading a book called The Secret Garden. She hugged it to her chest, savouring the emotions swirling inside her – happiness and hope, longing and sadness. “One day,” she whispered to herself, “I’ll write stories that make children feel this way.”
That girl was me. Today, I write children’s books with the hope of sparking a love of reading.
