ASLA Conference 2023: School Libraries Navigating the Future
I’ll be part of a panel of children’s book creators at the Australian School Libraries Association Conference in April. Australian authors Deb Abela, Dimity Powell, Kate Foster, and I will talk together in a session called Super Storytellers. SCBWI Australia East and the state branch I coordinate, SCBWI Queensland, are organising three panels to provide content for the school librarians to take home and use in their work.

This is the stuff of dreams.
I can hardly believe it’s true, but this year in August, I get to travel to the UK to promote my book. I’ll visit bookshops and sign books, and I hope I’ll get to meet my publisher, Barry Cunningham, and the team at Chicken House and my lovely literary agent, Lucy Irwin at PFD.
